Tauted as one of the few sane crossovers with High School DxD while having an interesting take on the Persona side. It's a bit of a time investment- 8 chapters and the story is already up to 70k words- but it's a story that I still feel fans of the Persona franchise should give a shot. in her work) and her characterization is quite good, creating interesting characters that play off each other quite nicely. Not to mention that she's quite a competent writer from a technical standpoint (aside from struggling with descriptions, there is little to complain about when it comes to spelling, grammar, etc. Now it's not completely unique- she is quite clearly taking some cues from Persona 3 and Persona 4, but she does it in a unique enough way that it never really bothers me. With a unique mythos, a relationship between the Personae and their users that heavily differs from canon, and even the nature of the creatures residing in the dungeons differs. Digital Skitty has, more or less, created her own Persona universe. The thing that really makes this fic stand out to me is that it isn't a rehash of old material, or one of the spins on the plotline that Persona fans have seen before. I'm going to recommend a Persona fic that's become a personal favorite of mine- Operation Poison Tree Frog by Digital Skitty. Then disagreeing with my travel companion.
